Welcome to The Three Tuns, was originally known as The Guildhall until the building of the present Guildhall in 1689. Since then it has been an inn and is now a public house. Renowned as the birthplace of King George III's tipple of choice - purl (mulled ale and gin) - the pub is unsurprisingly popular among visitors to the town, locals and Etonians alike - it has even been known to entertain more than a few royals in its time. The Three Tuns may only be a small pub, but the food is big - enjoy excellent fresh and traditional British food every day of the week. look forward to seeing you soon.
